Super Troopers - Review

Let me start off by saying. That this is by far is my favourite stoner movie of all times. The first scene alone is so dam funny your eyes are Watering. I must say I have seen this a couple of previous times not stoned but I am putting it to the test to prove that this is the movie of all movies about stoners.

I have decided to go with the Lung on this one. If you are unsure about what a lung is and would like to know how to construct one it i pretting simple. You will need a 1.5litre coke bottle(Thank you Coke), A bread back, Some Duct Tape, A cone and some string. Now this does sound like we are going to capture somone but you would be wrong.. we are making a Lung.

1. Cut the 1.5 litre bottle in half and keep the end with the cap. Now duct tape the bag to the bottom so it is air tight.

2. Make a hole in the Cap and put in the cone. Screw this back on and push the back in the bottle. Now to make it better I sometimes put it in the freezer to chill it out first.

3. Pop your favouirte brand in the cone light up and then slowley pull out the bread back which pulls the smoke inside.

4. Open the cap and then breath in deep hold for 2 seconds and exhale.. Now you will be ready for the movie.

The first scene starts off with Cops playing tricks on stoners which is always cool. Anyone scared of cops catching you with your stuff would know how this feels. I have yet had to eat nearly an ounce though before the cops came in along with mushies(magic mushrooms). But is makes for a great start to the movie.

After this scene the Red Fox stuff i was smoking was taking me to funky town. It was Good Devil's Lettuce shall I say. the curtains were attacking the tv screen which makes movies great. I remember a German Lady bent over the bonnet of a porshce then a guy getting out of a locker with shaving cream on and a big fat guy trying to kill a guy at mc Donalds(he probably deserved it).

I could not stop laughing. If you have not seen this movie you have not seen one of the greats of stoner culture. Get it out now or forever hold your Shibby.

Knocked Up - Review

Dudes. 

Watched this flick the other night. While toking it back with the ceramic Vase as you do. Wiked movie. Lots of laughs and facial hair. This movie shows how women can get drunk and go home with Jewish people. Really hits home. 

I did blank out for a bit but the bit to vegas was wicked and if you havn't done Shrooms at the circus go to Vegas or a great Circus and you will love it. I did not do it to Circ De Sole but one similar.... It is Scary.

Flavour of the week: extra dy afgani herbs.

Warning though if you do not want to see the head of a baby coming out of a womans Vag then don't watch the end. Just saftey here because when you have lungs full of smoke and you see that. You could hurt yourself. 

But all and All I give this movie 4 pot leaf's out of 5

Pineapple Express - Review

Hello my fellow Stoners.. Shibby

If you have not seen this fantastic movie stoned you are missing out. Myself and a good friend shared a joint of New Zealand's Finest out back of the theatre. We then ventured in. We were on top of our game as we had purchased the tickets prior. As we walked in to the movie I got scared and went straight in to the cinema. But my good man Stweve(As he is known) Went for the munchies with popcorn in hand we took our seats about 4 rows from the front. This is always the best place for a stoner as you can slump down in your seat so no one can see you. 

I must say the stuff we had was good as the trailers prior to the movie were nearly but not as funny as. Then the movie started. It was good. great even.

The movie story line is about a man and his dealer and they get the ever elluring Pinapple Express pot. What a great name huh. They then create an amazing joint which is like a cross and has 3 ends to light. Genius. Rogan then parks up to have a smoke on his way home as you do and witness's a murder of an asian dude. They see him and he goes back to Franco. From there it is a mixed bag of escapes, smoking, shootings and police car chases. The end however unrealistic is good. 

 It was good. great even. Seth Rogan seems to have been born for his roles in this type of movie. That curley hair and pot(shibby) belly suit the roles well. 

From what I remember of the movie there were great stoner breaks. If you are unsure of what I mean a stoner break is when there is a random scene that does not make much sence to the story line but if you are stoned it is close to the coolest thing you have seen all day. :-) 

James Franco(spiderman dude) was also good in the role. He has not done many movies like this that I know but really suited the role and made it different to the usual cast. 

The underground Pot farm set up by the military to see the effects of pot was great as well. Even better when it goes up in flames. Imagine that............ mmmmm... fantastic!

Shibby for now. The next review will be on the best stoner movie of all times. All I will say is Las Vegas.  Also let me know what you think of the review.

The Movie Review

A movie review is a person's oppinon on a movie. You read them because of the 10 movies that travel through the theatre you are likley to only see 1 or 2 on average. These days when you walk in to a cinema and the doors close you are looking for something that will help you either forget your problems or help you think about life. You know that gut feeling of happyness when everything works out or the sadness when the star does not make it. Some people call it magic. This is what makes a great movie.
